The glamorous connection between Bollywood and cricket is living strong through the ultra-public relationship between Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli. The two have been often spotted together and have spoken about their relationship freely. So you’d think that people would remember that they are in a relationship and keep their distance right? Well, not if you are a female Virat fan.
The story goes that as Virat and Anushka were leaving their Bengaluru hotel after a recent Royal Challengers match (we all know, Anushka had been travelling with her boyfriend for the first few matches in the on-going IPL), a large group of female fans swarmed them. But these fans were Virats, and mind you, they were fearless.
And even before Anushka could blink, she was (literally) pushed away from him.
The group was so big that the actress found herself alienated and unable to get back to Virat.
Virat tried to wriggle his way out- but the women would just not back down.
Left with no option, Anushka rushed to the hotel's reception to ask for help. But when their requests failed to deter the fans, Anushka had no option but to call for her personal security guards.
Anushka got back to her man but only after the bouncers had done their job.
Buzz is, Anushka has still not recovered from the 'attack'.
Phew! Anushka, you are a big celebrity but Virat is a bigger celebrity. Don't be surprised if such incidents continue happening.
